Here's a bonus for our 7 weeks of bebop, Blues For Alice. I thought this would be a good one because of the different changes. Good luck!

This Horace Sliver tune is a great tune for modal study. It moves through some contrasting and somewhat awkward keys. When improvising it is important to make smooth connections as you move from key to key.
I've included the arrangement of the head. You can substitute the flute with pretty much any other instrument.
My lesson is once again an epic etude made up of a few parts. Do the parts that are of interest to you.
