sold
I am contemplating selling a Malletkat Pro that I got for my son back in 2009 that I've had in storage.
It includes the 3 octave body, plus (2) one octave add-ons......5 octaves total. All notes work fine.
+ Foot pedal, cables, manual, wall wort power pack.
When I turn it on, it says it's version 3.6 YWS
What should be the asking price? I've had a hard time finding any history of sales on these.
thanks
Update: I checked Alternate Mode KAT's website. Looks like I can get the chip that upgrades the MalletKat from V3.6 to V6.1 for $179.
Hi, I own a vintage Trixon Vibraphone without motor and I'm looking for one. There used to be a motor on it, but someone took it off.
Hope to hear from someone.

Custom 3-1/2 Octave VanderPlas Vibraphone for Sale [Model LW 3.5]
Custom built by Nico VanderPlas, one of the most innovative vibraphone makers of the last decades. Nico was one of the first, if not the first vibe engineer to use a silicone gel-filled damper pad. He was also the first to use an innovative pedal system which moves the pedal moves straight down away from the bars, rather than angling away from the bars. This ensures that dampening of all bars happens at the same time.
This is pretty much a one-of-a-kind vibraphone.
I have a like new profession quality Musser Piper Vibraphone with Multispeed Motor (M58M) for sale. I purchased it new 10 years ago, it was rarely used, and it is in Like New Condition.
I just replaced the damper pad with a vanderPlas silicone filled pad. No scratches or dings. Sounds beautiful and looks the same. Comes with the original manual, two sets of mallets, and an extra belt. Tuned to A=442.
Asking $3500. In the Seattle area.
I have a set of Musser Pro M-55 gold-bar vibes at my college. The bars are beautiful, but the frame was designed by the backside of a horse. The frame actually bowed on me. I contacted Musser (twice) and got no reply. I really do not want another one of these half-assed frames, and I do not want a marching band frame. I am looking to find a 1970's era frame, like my personal set of Pro Vibes, that I can use with the new bars. I do not need a motor, just the frame.

Hey FYI there are 2 M75's from the 50's for sale on craigslist.
These instruments are the finest bars ever made. (IMHO)
One is in Tacoma WA and the other in Nebraska.
