Jam Session at Bedlam BBQ
I always find it interesting to talk about the different jazz "scenes" in different places. Its pretty neat. Its like each city has its own direction that jazz is moving in. If i understand correctly, Philly is pretty old school and in New York everyone wants to sound like Kurt Rosenwinkel and Mark Turner. Denton Texas is Brecker. In Oklahoma all my friends are really into the Miles and Coltrane stuff of the 60's. The crazy Post Bop stuff. A couple people are exceptions.
Hi!
Here is " Beautiful love " during my vibes exam' in december 09.
A lot of stress! and there are a couple of bad choice of notes in my solo :/
Also, I find that the attacks of notes is too precise and squared, no? I would like to have more flexible and fluid playing! ...
thanks for listing! =)

A quick lesson on finding threads through tunes and building lines around them.
here is another track of my trio. i really like that theme a lot. it´s written by wes montgomery.
since i heard some different versions of that tune on the site (e.g. phillipe´s which i really liked a lot) i thought i post a trio version of the tune with a very little arrangement by me...the recording is from last year may or april i think so it´s not my recent playing but who cares :)
Woah!! Bobby comping with 4 mallets!!!
Here is my version of etude #10. Sorry for the poor recording quality but i had to use my computer microphone for this. Thanks!!
