I recorded a few tunes with my buddy Laura Klein last week. They will be part of a CD titled Thinking Out Loud. I hope to have the project finished by September.
Hello vibes workshop, I hope everyone is having a great summer!
Duo playing is one of my favorite configurations. I wanted to share with you a video from my duet project with guitarist Brad Shepik.
This particular one is a live studio footage of us recording one of the tunes from our debut cd, "Flower Starter", released this summer. CD's and digital are available over at www.beckhamshepik.com and also at CDBaby.com.
Thanks, hope you enjoy it.

Hey,
I just came accross this picture on Face Book of Joe Doubleday... For those who don't know, Joe is a long term member here, and from the status of student, turned into a great professional vibist !
But don't tell me this picture doesn't remind you of another much famous one! It instantly came to my mind as I first saw it. Joe was ok for me to post this on the site.
I'm sure there will be little time before someone posts as comment the "other picture"... Sorry I'm not Tony, and have no "prize" to give to the first who will post it ;-) It's just for fun!
On your marks! :-)
Hi Folks,
Realizing that my Malletkat rig is never gonna get through TSA security and am wondering in anyone in the Los Angeles area has a malletkat I could borrow for a week for a few gigs out there?
Thanks!

Dear all,
This is one more picture from my special album: today Stefan Kohmann from Germany was in Paris... and near my working place ! For those who remember, Stefan is a member of the site since a long time, and spent no more than 5 years as music teacher... in Oman! The site had then been a great way to communicate and practice his instrument... from such an isolated place ! :-)
Hello all – although this might be an embarrassing question to ask, BUT I'm working on étude #8 (vibraphone technique dampening and pedaling by David Friedman)
