I feel a bit like the lion in The Wizard of Oz ;-) I have been sifting through the site for a few days and I have had some success at trying to learn online. I am a beginner and I know what I do not know, which is a start. I could use a recommendation for a book on the fundamentals of music theory as it relates to my level of (or absence of) knowledge of playing the vibes. Any suggestions?

just thought some one would want to see this. Know what if someone layed them out in a keyboard pattern to make a blow vibraphone? Like a melodica, except bottles.

Help guys. this has been a huge problem with my vibes. i have been trying to fix this problem since i got them a year ago. when i purchased it used it had this problem. so i bought a new rail because i thought that that was the problem (it was warped). the new rail seemed to work, but my vibe has started to have this problem again.

A student of mine showed this video to me. I thought it was pretty cool!
