I moved this from a forum posting to a blog...

I am wondering if my glasses are messing with my site reading improvement quest. Looking at the music, and then looking down without moving my head, I notice the frame of my glasses cuts right in the middle of the naturals. I assume there there are other folks who can play with bi-focals or have dealt with this issue. My questions are:
1) Should I get larger frames
2) Shell out the $$ for some vibe only lenses
3) Deal with what I have, perhaps my brain can adjust.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I've been playing Little B's Poem every day and working on a solo out of the Omnibook, using it as a sort of etude. Starting to take it through all the keys.

What are you working on? (Always curious)

I just realized that that's another way of describing consistency.

I hope you guys see the importance of working on something, taking a break (less than 36 hours is recommended) and then doing is again and then over again.

Here Etude 1. When I recorded I didn't notice the mic setting was on "low", then I had to amplify a lot when editing. In the process and in the passing in MP3 format, the nuances went out a bit...

Live from the Red Sea Jazz Festival

This is from a concert last week. I had sent a copy to Tony and he thought I should post it, so here "tis.

For those of you not old enough to know, this tune is from the era of the Great Depression. It is called Brother Can You Spare a Dime. The players here are Dan Hanrahan (guitar), Gabe Globus-Hoenich (drums), Justin Sekelewski (bass) and me.
