I'm looking for a used (in good condition) m-55 to buy.
Maybe you guys could help me out on a price to be looking at, i'm not really sure what they go for. I think a new one is around $4,800? Maybe I could get sponsored by musser and get a free one?... haha. Thanks for any help!

Hi,
I'm using a Malletkat Pro attached to a Yamaha Motif Rack XS.
The vibraphone sound has a vibrato I would like to get rid of but I couldn't figure out how to make it.
I messed around with the LFO adjustments a little bit but that showed no results.

Any idea, how to turn the vibrato off?

today i had a reharsel with a guitar player i never met before.he called me for 2 jobs in june and july (happy about it!) fortunatley the first song he wanted to play was our TOTM. thanks to tony i was fearless and here´s the result. the first notes we played today for the first time together, uncut and with mistakes and comments. this are 2 versions we played directly in a row. so it´s a practice session tape. i really like the sound of the nylon strings and the acoustic sound of the guitar and i think he´s a incredible player.

For US members, tonight will be the second broadcast of the fantastic 2010 Dave Brubeck documentary Dave Brubeck: In His Own Sweet Way from 8:00-9:30 on Turner Classic Movies. It has only been broadcast one time on Dave's 90th birthday, and is not available on DVD. Executive produced and hosted by Clint Eastwood, it will definitely "make your day."

I'm amazed that this has not been released commercially, and hopefully it will come out soon so non-US members can have an opportunity to view it.
