Here's a section on Teddy including David Friedman talking about studying with Teddy.
Teddy quit the business for a long time. He came back towards the end of his life. He seems pretty down in this video.
He quite and did something in the Caribbean with a boat. Giving tours or something like that.
I think he sounds pretty good here.

This is so discouraging on many levels but it's the way it is. It's truth and yes, he sounds fantastic. Wow, what a player and it's obvious in just a few notes... He appears to me to be completely blindsided by the fact that life has him positioned as a pauper and I agree that it should not be that way but it is. So many things to think about here.

i think he had a fun life. he was on the islands for many years doing some sort of boat thing. he said he made money and had a ball. i think he just expected to come back and 'be the cat'. that's difficult to do i think. esp if you're old. IMHO
