Aloha from Honolulu ,
There is a lot to learn from listening to this cd. I think this is an incredible album!
I would love to do a concert with only a drummer. I've jammed with only drummers and have done maybe 1 piece in a concert with only drums.
I love the sound here and the great playing!
I love duo CDs especially unconventional ones.
Listen to this one. It's great. Our instrument is as much monophonic as it is polyphonic. To see sax and drums playing a concert here is pretty cool. That means we could really do something great with a drummer as we can play some chords as well!
I live David's music. Here's an epk from his new cd!
Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping you are all safe and healthy and doing what you need to do to stay that way!
I'm filing May's show very early, trying to keep ahead and free up time to help my friend with her mask-making endeavors. She's makin' 'em good to look at, color-coordinated from cheery fabrics. Mine is Minnie Mouse and Michael's got Batman. Mine are going to be made with some wild and colorful African prints.
Hope you're all well and in good spirits out there. Just wanted to share this new video of a series of videos I'm producing from home entitled "Choro in My Apartment." I'm joined by my friend and Brazilian bad@ss pianist Helio Alves. It serves to document my love of Brazilian music, Coffee, and Brazilian Coffee
I was having a little more fun with this one and being less careful (read: it sounds worse)
