Hey everyone!
I've been transcribing some Acadian music (from Canada) and hope to learn more during this quarantine time.
Here is one I learned last month. Thanks Tony for the cool vibes ;)
Acadian music and Québécois music (two kinds of traditional music from Canada) have a lot of Irish influence due to a massive Irish migration (1.2 million people!) in the 1800s. This tune is by a band called Vishtèn, from Prince Edward Isle.
Churches can be great places to play vibes, especially solo. Hauke plays great and I love the reverb!

"Blues with a Shuffle Feel" - Some experimentation tonight with a left hand "boogie woogie" pattern on a blues.
Hi everyone! This is my solo version of A Time For Love by Johnny Mandel. I love this tune and I was going to perform this on my senior recital tonight, but due to the coronavirus it has been canceled. However, I thought I would share this piece with you all here instead. Enjoy and stay safe!!
Hey Vibes Workshop,
My name is Steve Roehm. I'm a vibist out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I get to play solo vibraphone at the MSP International Airport every week.
So here's a rendition of "Gee Baby Ain't I Good to You" before everything shut down.
Hope you dig it.
