This makes me think of Warren as a kid playing the vibes. He was on TV as a 6 year old.

Yes I'm pushing the workshop :-)! We only have 10 spots, and I'd like to get all the vibesworkshop people who want to attend signed up before the outside people do. A couple have. Ok I hope to see some of you there!
This is a rough take of an arrangement I have been working on. I was inspired by some of the things David Friedman was doing in his Cmi version going to major in bar 7.

Here is an overdo submission of my assignment from Tony from my lesson with him in January. I got a bit busy at work on multiple fronts, and I'm happy to be back on the vibes regularly. I put Chi Chi together and I'm slowly increasing my comfort through the changes and the tempo.

Recorded with Ireal Pro for backing (bass and drums only). Thanks for all the posts and the zoom hang! Let me know your thoughts.

David enlightened me and schooled me here. I found the original version of the tune. I never liked going to major like it does in this version (the original version) until I heard it here and talked with David. I'm impressionable, what can I say!
Yes! We are doing the Steve Weiss Mallet Festival again this year and in person! I'm so excited to announce this!
The workshop will be great and we will have instruments available. There will be classes every day and practice time.
Thanks to Tony, Behn, David, Oliver for all the infos provided all along the tutos and chats about this tune.?
