以Blues為例子(你可以用任何一首曲子來練習),一開始速度慢,確定都用到四棒。
這個概念很簡單,但是要花時間練習。

這一集要講的是四棒適當的運用,因為有些學生只會用到某些棒子,
時常提到演奏四分音符的重要性,你可以用這個方式練習(Tony示範Cmajor, Cminor)
練這個練習時,沒有嚴格的規定,只要把他打得好聽,盡量做音樂,不要當成一個無聊的練習。
這個練習很好幫助左手的兩棒技巧,因為運用左手兩支棒子時,聽起來會聽起來像Voicing。
在這個簡單小練習中,盡量嘗試發覺你自己的東西。一個Pattern或是一個音樂句子。
這非常幫助四棒演奏技巧。

I believe you should spend a lot of time (in your mind) walking on stage and playing a piece or two as if there is an audience. The best way I know of to simulate that is to record your performance. video is best. Then you have to look at yourself!

C13b9 的和聲配置(voicing) 你可以把7音放最底下(Bb),再來3音(E),然後是b9(Db)和13(A)音。
來談談這個13音(A),在聽覺上你可能下一個和弦要接到Fmajor7 的錯覺。因為natrual A是FMajor的三音。
所以當我們在演奏ii-V-I的和聲進行中,會在演奏五級(V)時開始累積Major的聲響,因為五級(V)運用Dominant13b9。
但是其實我們不一定要演奏Major和弦,我們也可以接到Fminor7和弦。
快速找到Dominant 13b9 和聲配置的方法:
例如: C13b9 ———— 從C往下想大二度(Major2),得到Bb音,再往下想小二度(Minor2),得到A音。
把Bb當成根音(root),A做成大三和弦(triad),這樣就得到了C13b9。
G13b9 ———— F當作根音,做一個E大三和弦。
D13b9 ———— C當作根音,做一個B大三和弦。
