here´s some more music for the detective novel i wrote. this is a vamp for a scene in a special pub.
i think it´s a great example of the possibilties for us malletplayers to sound like a keyboard player. it´s fun
Rüdiger Scheipner - Sax
Christoph Kammer - Bass
Tarik Dosdogru - Drums & Malletkat
A little Saturday morning practice before heading out to mow the lawn. Ha!Ha! Playing "Don't Forget (Renato's Theme"), a beautiful song composed by the great Pat Metheny. I love Pat's writing and the sound and feel of my M39 Vic Firth mallets.
Hi
here´s some more music i composed for the detective novel. ths is very very simple but i like the possibilities of the malletkat to add spacey sounds. it fits perfect to the mood in the story which is very sad and dark as you can hear :)
i also added donnerblech (don´t know the english word for it) and cymbal played with bow.
as i said nothing fancy to play but i like the mood and the recording.

.
A few choruses recorded today by a student in a private lesson. We were talking about left hand comping on There Will Never Be Another You.
.
Here is our version of the children song no 6 by chick corea. i don´t like the reverb on the recording and humming like keith jarret of the piano player but i had no influence on both :)
other than that i think we played it ok.
Martin legemann: Piano
Tarik Dosdogru: Vibes
Tell me what you think!

"Fortune Smiles" - one of my favorite songs from Keith Jarrett. I'm a huge fan of his playing and compositions. This song was recorded on one of my favorite recordings released in 1971 and titled "Gary Burton and Keith Jarrett"
