If you're thinking about attending the Delaware workshop, perhaps shipping the Aurora and selling it on consignment through www.malletshop.com might be an option. Obviously, I hope you can sell it in Europe, but if not it may be easier to sell it through Malletshop since they deal with buying and selling used instruments and have built a confidence level with customers. I don't know where they are located, but since they have a museum listed on their website I would suspect it's a brick-and-mortar location and you could get the instrument there.
It think it's fair to say that your final sale after shipping and commissions paid may or may not be less than 2800 Euros so I suggest that as a last resort. But it is a possibility to consider.
As for the French territory, did you put it on www.ebay.fr? On www.leboncoin.fr? I didn't see it there. Of course there is quite little chance but... you never know! (I got my vibes from ebay.fr). FYI, there's a Yamaha on Leboncoin for sale...
Thanks for all your help and suggestions, next step.. anybody got a Deagan Aurora for sale in the US or Canada? probably start looking to buy in about 6 months.
We have a few interested parties who haven't followed through, so please let me know if you are interested & if you think we are asking a reasonable price (I've had to research this online mostly and have seen from 2-5K. The instrument does have one flaw I just learned about: pedal is duct taped together so needs some mechanical repair but all else is great.

Hi,
I'm selling a set of Deagan Aurora II's (SN 1103) here in Nashville, TN. As it's been about 6 months, are you still interested in a set for purchase?
Thanks.
