I've got the lick down in all keys as long as I play them separate, go through the chords first, etc. What I've been working on the last 2 days though is playing the lick through the circle of fifths without playing the chords in between. It's been a big challenge but I think it's helping me see the dominant extensions better. I'll keep you posted and post audio of the circle of fifths exercise when I can get through the whole thing regularly.
Do you think we can meet up this weekend? I think I'm ready for the next step.
Wow! That's great, 4 gigs over the weekend! Unfortunately, I won't be around tomorrow night and then Monday is going to be crazy as I'm starting a new job and have plans that evening. I'm wide open on Tuesday evening, will that work for you?
I could do it on Wednesday if we meet up at maybe 6:45 or 7? I have something at 8:15ish but it's only about 5 minutes from my house. Will that work for you?
Yeah, I ended up with 4 offers this past week and picked what I thought would work out best for me. I met all the guys at this place and they seem pretty cool and I'll get to wear jeans and a t-shirt to the office.
