"Everything Happens To Me" - a beautiful song written by Tom Adair (lyrics) and Matt Dennis (music). At Berklee this morning squeezing in a little practice time before heading to some presentations for the 5 Week Program. Playing one of the school's Yamaha vibraphone. I like how my Vic Firth mallets (M39) sound on it.
I thought I'd share this because I've gotten a lot from it. It's very helpful getting your mind into the game as a warm up exercise and if you're new to playing tunes in all keys, it's a structured exercise that helps make the relationships and trains the ear. Give it a try. All keys of course.
