This is an interesting cd for vibe players to check out. Listen to Julian play. This is Guitar, Bass and Drums. Julian plays the melody a lot of the time and only adds one or two notes. When I hear stuff like this, I think immediately about playing in a trio, vibes, bass and drums. I see how little I have to play. I see how similar we are to the guitar in terms of comping and playing melodies. I learn so much from listening to guitar trio CDs!!!!

Hi guys here's my new solo version of the TOTM. In jam session people play it in Eb or C and I was unsure about the key I wanted to play it so I decided to divide the head in C for the first half and Eb for the second half.
As always there's the pdf with the transcription of Head in, solo form head out and coda.

This is a very very simple etude based on the changes to 'My Romance'. Here's why I think it's cool. It simply states the changes to the tune. What you should do is:

• Play the melody and chords first
• Once you really here the tune and the key in your head, play the etude

Now this is an easy etude. You should be able to memorize it quickly. You should memorize it and then play it in different keys. This will be a really good harmony lesson for you if you play it through all the keys.
