Hi, I'm just new to this forum and am really a jazz drummer rather than a vibes player but I've been lucky enough to have an old Premier vibraphone on loan for a while which I've been having a lot of fun with. I believe it's a 751 model but I have no idea how old it is. The current owner has now decided to sell and so he offered me the chance to buy it.
I was just wondering what an instrument like this is worth in reasonable condition (motor in working order, etc) so that I know I'm paying a fair price for it. He said he bought it about 10 years ago for £950 in the UK. Can anyone advise me on the current value before I make him an offer?
