I'm thinking the next vibe hang could be July 26th. Who wants to play on it??
(Still working out some details)
My buddy Wilson Moorman is in a group called Strike Force. It's a percussion group and I thought I'd give you a quick sample of them. Pretty cool stuff.
In the group is:
Thurman Barber
Bryan Carrott
Wilson Moorman
Eli Fountain
Ray mantilla
This is a nice and cool version of my bossa-ballad "Calm Down" (recorded "live in Berlin", 2006), played by the musical fellows and friends of my brazilian jazz group BRAZILIAN EXPERIENCE from NYC.
Gustavo Bergalli - trumpet
Klaus Mueller - piano
Itaiguara - bass
Portinho - drums
Florian Poser - vibes
Have fun!
For those who are interested in playing the tune I attached the sheet-music as PDF file to this post.

Milt did the Blind Fold test in this issue, (where they play current artists and try to guess) and his comments really caught my attention...then again his comments always get my attention, so thought i would post it up here.

Hey vibes-men and -women,
please look at the video in "HQ" and "full screen size"!
Then you can listen to the original solo and read the music as SIBELIUS-score. The cursor always shows you where you are.
Now I checked out how to upload the PDF-file to my post - so you can get it directly from here:
Serpent's Tooth-Solo by Victor Feldman.pdf
Have fun!

During the Holland workshop we all agreed to work on a tune and present it. Here's My tune.
I wanted to play a ballad very very simply. I wanted it to not have a lot of technical stuff in it. In fact I was hoping that some of you guys would see that technically you could play the ballad if it was written out.
