試著只用四分即興，這個幫助很大。
好處是你的腦中會慢慢開始有這些和弦的形狀，
即使你只是初學者，也可以只打根音、三音、五音，但是都是只打四分音符就好。

練習常見的3-6-2-5的和絃進行：
In Bb key:
Dminor7(D, F, A, C)
G7(B, Eb, F, Bb)
Cminor7(Bb, D, Eb, G)
F7(A, C, Eb, F#)
轉到12個大小調中。
另外Tritone substitution (三全音代理屬和絃)和聲進行，也適合轉到12個大小調中練習。
Dminor7(D, A, C, F)
C#7(F, Ab, B, Eb)
Cminor7(Eb, G, Bb, D)
F7(A, C, Eb, F#)

現在學一組和絃進行：
第一個和弦，先演奏隨便一個根音的Minor7 和弦，
接下來的這個和弦是，往上移全音之後的altered 和弦（屬和絃降13音）
再來當然皆接在屬和絃後的和弦，最常見到的和聲進行就是接回主和弦。
所以和弦如下：
Gminor7- A7b13- Dminor7
這是blue in green 中，其中一小段的和弦進行，
把曲子分成一小部分一小部分，每一個小部份轉到不同調裡面，練好之後，會幫助很大！
練好這個之後，整首曲子的和聲進行你都練到了。

My vibraphone trio, The Wee Trio, just released our fifth CD today. We expanded the trio for trumpet, guitar, and piano. It features Nicholas Payton, Nir Felder, and Fabian Almazan. Here's an EPK/Promo video of the record.
Had a little time today between classes and ran through Chick's composition "Desert Air". Chick and Gary recorded a brilliant version on their debut recording "Crystal Silence", one of my favorite recordings. I remember seeing Gary play this solo during the 70s at a club in Boston called The Jazz Workshop. It was spectacular. This is a great but tough tune with odd bar phrasing and unusual chord progressions and modulations.
