Because this composition contains so many ii-V's I thought it's a good idea to learn outlines.

I was in waorkshop today with Graig Bailey and he was talking about practising a tune with different rythms which eventually leads you to different stlyes. So rythm is EVERYTHING!
This is a good way to practise tunes!
thanks
This is another solo on the tune Recado bossa nova.

every friday i rehearse (it´s more a practice session then a rehearse) with my best friend christof a really great guitar player which i know since i´m 16. i learn a lot by just playing with him.we sometimes play 1 hour 1 tune or sometimes even only some bars and loop them for a long time. at the end of the day we always try to make a final short version.one fast and one slow. today we practiced our totm.i think that´s the best way to practice...
here are both versions
Hey guys, Marie-Noelle had posted a link of me playing this tune with bassist Mark Carlsen. Here is another version with Mark, Charlie Jennison on sax, Les Harris Jr. on drums and me on vibes. This was a concert that took place at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH in October, 2012. It was a tribute to local bassist Jim Howe who passed away. Jim and I used to play a lot together at the Press Room in Portsmouth, NH. This was one of Jim's favorite tunes. How Deep was also one of Herb Pomeroy's favorite tunes.
