Most of the tunes I try to write end up in the waste basket but this one avoided that fate and ended up on a CD I made a couple of years ago. Slow and bluesy, the melody in the bridge is similar to a tune by David Frishberg called "Blizzard of Lies". I decided on the title, "Secrets and Lies" party because of the similarities to David's tune.
The pianist is my good buddy Laura Klein.
