This is my arrangement of Billy Joel's a Christmas tune called "She's Right on Time" from the 1982 Nylon Curtain album. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00138KGKC/
Merry Christmas.
Enjoy,

Wishing everyone a great holiday. I've been busy teaching Music Production courses for the past few years at Minneapolis Media Institute and continue to explore and expand my knowledge of the LOGIC and REASON platforms and music production - if you're interested in learning these software programs I have many tutorials up at my site and youtube channel - and I also do on-line lessons. Drop by for printed vibes music and recordings too -
Still playing vibes and love dropping by here for inspiration from all the contributors, thanks Tony for keeping this going!
Happy Holidays everyone!
Ok, the noise of the instrument is deliberate. That's the sleigh bells.
The plane flying overhead was coordinated. That's people coming home for Christmas!!
Ha ha, I'm on a very tiny island. You should see the airport. Huge jets take off and fly right over where I'm staying!
BTW can you guess the tune? Can you post a Christmas Line Tune?

This morning I started a little etude on Silent Night. I think it still rings a bit too much. I also realise I should have taken it a bit lower for my voice, but I have no more time today to relearn and recorded it in another key... I'm afraid we'll all have to do with it! :o)
Merry Christmas everyone! :o)
Happy Holidays everyone!! Hoping next year is the year of the vibes, where no one calls it a xylophone ever again!! (ba dum chik!)
Just posting this track that was on Gloria Krolak's december program along with the track I did with Marie (It's should be linked to here) for holiday cheer.
In case you were wondering, I play all the parts you hear here on my VanderPlas LW40 and Marimba (about 5 tracks I think).
Best wishes to all for the new year!

Hi,
Here is a song called Los Bilbilicos from my duet Lame Vocale.
it's sung in ladino (Spanish Jewish) by the French soprano singer: Lea Sarfati.
Hope you will enjoy.
Merry chrismas

I"m in the Caribbean for a few more weeks. I spend my days practicing, checking out vibesworkshop, reading and gigging.
I've really been thinking about lines all the time and practicing them. I brought the Omnibook don't and am checking out Confirmation. I'm seriously thinking about going cover to cover with the book. I've done a few of the solos but not in any order. I would really love to spend a year or two checking out Parker.
Here's another tune that Johnny and I played back in October.
