Gary Burton is giving a huge contribution to the site. You should find everything about him in those sections: awesome stories, great photos, thoughts and discussions, lessons and tributes from us fans. Enjoy! :o)
Here's all the lessons and performances of Ed Saindon's tune 'Life's Blessings.
We spent the month of March studying Ed's tune and we had a blast. Check out all the comments. There's a lot of valuable information here.
F Blues with left hand comping along with soloing with the right hand. Dedicated to one of my favorite pianists in this type of style (with left hand comping four to the bar), Dave McKenna.
about 2 month´s ago i saw a live concert of christina aguilera on tv. she really blew me away cause not like other pop diva´s she had a real band with complete horn section ON the stage and not hided anywhere in the back.the band was really killer like and they played soul and even some jazz elements in there, mostley from her back to basics cd.i got the cd later but it´s not as good as her live show...ok i am no teenie anymore but this woman really can sing incredible.
This is from the album "Longing". If you don't have this CD you got to buy it. Joe doubles the sound of the vibes through midi on this track. It kills!
This is such a great group!
Man check out the playing on this demo. Listen to David play the first piece. The playing is absolutely incredible. The second piece is pretty spectacular as well.
Now that I've had the chance to sift through a lot of the commentary on the site, I think it's time to fill in some details. I enjoyed reading the comments posted following the review of my ALONE AT LAST record, both the praise and the criticisms. Believe me, I'm my worst critic, so it doesn't bother me at all if someone doesn't like something I've done. In fact, I doubt there is any one person who would like ALL the records I've made. Even I don't like them all! (But don't even think of asking me which ones I don't like!)
