A very simple lesson (In theory). Learn the melody. Play it with the rests. Remember the rests count as much as the notes.

Tony has asked me to assign one of my etudes for you to work on. Here is a link to my etude on How Deep Is The Ocean:

It doesn't have to be perfect, but work on it and try to get it close to tempo. This etude will help you with ideas for lines. You can listen to my version of it, as well as the other members who have posted it.
