Seeing Red Norvo's name on the list - another deceased but amazing player would be Walt Dickerson. Can he be added?

One of my absolute favorites is and remains Karl Berger / the German vibist, pianist and composer - a really important musician not only in German jazz.
Can you add him to the list please? Great.

I would like to suggest these 4 german vibes-players for the list.
At least David Friedman knows Stefan Bauer, they played together in Wuppertal...
Christopher Dell is an interesting person: Not only playing avantgarde jazz ( but also more mainstream for example with great german jazz drummer Wolfgang Haffner), he is also a scientist, holds lectures on improvisation ( not in music but in organisations !).
A.M.Sicking has been for many years and still is the only german workshop author for mallet instruments (in the oldest german drum magazine "drums+percussion") and plays in a well known german band. Yes, and we won't forget Matthias Goebel, founder of the mallet - institute in Düsseldorf,Germany.
Would be great to add them to the list !
