Summertime by Joe Locke & Goeffrey Keezer (check out Joe's solo!)

This is pretty cool! Check out Joe's solo. I was just looking around and this floored me. The thing I also dig is their re-interpretation of the tune. I hear a lot of reinterpretations these days and a lot are so far removed from the original that I personally get a little turned off. It's obvious that Keeser knows the path back to Summertime (IMHO).

I watched this vid quite a few times... yes great interpretation!

I like the way they both get into the tune in the intro, bringing "asiatic like" lines in it. Did you mention those few notes Keezer plays directly on the cords of the piano? I had not noticed this before!

And yes... killing solo(s)!
