I taught her in grad school. she never played jazz before grad school.

She has grown so much in such a short period of time... She is killing the up tempo stuff also. I was so happy for her when I heard the recordings she has been posting this week.

Sounds great! I'll never forget meeting and playing with her at the Delaware workshop in 2014. I think there is a video somewhere on YouTube of us playing "Very Early" together. She was still learning jazz harmony at that point, so I wrote out some voicings for her to play.
