Nice, sensitive playing from you and everyone in the band. You know what strikes me the most about that performance? The PROCESS of the playing. Some of the musical elements related to the process of the playing in that performance that I observed included restraint, pacing, listening, motive development in the solos, spontaniety, technical control, subtle nuance, absence of ego, dynamics,... Keep'em coming!
Thanks, Ed. Tom (the piano player) is a great listener and is great at communicating through the music... he has a great way of making a soloist sound better. It is always fun playing with guys who are on the same 'wave length' and it definitely adds another layer to the music.
