Is it or isn't this my grip! Who knows! Someone else named and I've written the most extensively about it. Call it what you want, but I think it's a great grip to play vibes with. Sort of has the best of both worlds.
My favorite vibe player Victor Feldman uses it. That alone is enough reassurance that this is a very effective vibraphone grip. Check out the vids!

OOOOOOPPPPPPPSSS I forgot to mention ONE THING!! Put the outside stick on top of the inside stick, JUST LIKE THE Burton grip.

I was playing minor arpeggios and heard Chopin Valse, so I started fooling around with it in Cm (which was the arpeggio I was working on). I later dug out the music and found it was in C#m, so I had to relearn it. I am trying to work out a musically satisfying arrangement for the vibes.
This video is in 3 parts containing some sketches of the arrangements with 2 mallets. Eventually I want to get to use 4 mallets.
The first video is the A part in Cm. The second video is the A part in C#m. The third video is the B part in C#m.
