Dedicated to the great Charlie Haden
This jpg is a manuscript of an exercise I have been doing daily for a while now. I think its kinda cool they way the shape of the scale wraps around which in turn really twist the scale into other ideas ...
Hi,
this is my 4th song of my new studio project.
i had fun doing the audio but not the video...but i think it´s important.
Warning! This Video contains shocking images against animals, which happens everday all over the world. don´t close your eyes...don´t be to blind to see...stop eating meat !
for those of you who want to close your eyes i will also upload just the audio...

Click on the brackets on the bottom right of the video box and you can watch in full screen mode.
Also print out the etude which is attached to this lesson.
Here is your assignment:
Play this all over your instrument. Just play the progression. Grab a spot and a voicing and play it. Move to another spot and play it. Use the chord symbols, not the notes. Play in all inversions.
I'm using this in a lesson. Here's the lesson http://www.vibesworkshop.com/node/13070
Ok let's move to another TOTM.
How about:
All the Things You Are
and
Prince Albert
Do you know about these tunes? Prince Albert is a contrafact of All the Things You Are. That is same chords but new melody.
Prince Albert is a great bebop tune and GREAT to play through all the keys.
So you're studying one set of chord changes, but two tunes.
So get ready for some fun lessons!
