We all have seen those great etudes created via Logic+malletkat.

I used reaper and finale, a midi keyboard and a midiusb adapter

There's a lot to learn from Johnny Smith and apply to the vibes. He's old school and whether you like his style is irrelevant. Just check out his chordal playing. It's pretty cool. For us we'd think 'closed voicings' with him.

This is just a taste. If you dig him, check out his music and think chord melody!

It's four years since I proposed to our program manager this strange show featuring the vibraphone. She didn't think it would last long, maybe six months. But here we are starting the fifth year.
