Hey everyone!

I had posted some other video from this concert last fall, but thought you might enjoy this tune. It's a great composition by Keith Jarrett, from a sometimes overlooked period of the 1970's that I think was one of the most musically creative times ever. I've never heard anyone do it on vibes - although Mark used to do it with the early Pat Metheny Group, so it's been a blast to do with him.

last weekend a dream of mine came true. i had the chance to play the music of my favorite musician at the zappanale in front of many people who think the same as me. we had also the chance to meet some members of franks bands.

this was one of the greatest gigs i ever had...hope next time i will be on mallets not drums :)

Check this out. Andre is a great vibe player I think. He's play Brazilian Choro music on the vibes. (is it choro?). I saw him to a whole concert of this music and miss one note. Every tune was like this. This is sort of like Brazilian bebop!

I always listen to Bach and think about playing a tune solo. This is the technique to do it, right?

Since the first one was such a hit, I couldn't resist doing another one! Note the similarities and differences in this one.

I'm working something out with Gary Burton. I think he's willing to autograph a bunch of books for VW members! You know his new autobiography is coming out soon. Well I asked him if we could have some collectors vibesworkshop books!
