Forum Topic: Musser Pro-vibe Wheels

Hi All,

I'm trying to find out information on the exact wheels for the Musser Pro-Vibe M55 as I have had one of the wheels go missing in transit at one of my schools.

Does anyone know if they have a specific model number or name... or better yet where to get them from easily?

Whilst I'm on the topic, I like the M48 Pro traveller wheels much better and would be keen to track down a set of them to replace on my personal instrument....

Any leads?

These Days of Wine and Roses (Melody Arrangement)

These Days of Wine and Roses, comp. Henry Mancini

Every Tuesday I will post another clip of me playing the head of a tune with chords. I would love feedback and I hope to inspire anyone on the site to do something similar! I'm also trying to be more active on the site and post/check out all the new stuff on here.

Etude of the Month Applied (may take more than a minute...)

just a quick application comment...

this line is quartal vocabulary (or fourthy vocabulary hahaha).

it's a quartal chord just in an inversion. If you made C# the bottom note voiced... C#, F#, B, E you would have stacked 4ths.

where to play this? Well it could be...

Emaj giving you scale degrees 13-9-5-1
Amaj (3-13-9-5)
Dmaj (7-3-13-9)
C#minor (1, 11, 7, 3)
F#minor (5-1-11-7)
Bminor (9-5-1-11)
E7 (13-9-5-1)
Bb7alt (#9-b13-b9-#11)

I'm sure I left a few out. But do you guys see how it fits into all of those chords?

In Case You Haven't Noticed

I have been working my butt off. Lots of work which is good. You know I've made a transition over the last few years. I used to do tons of corporate stuff $$$$, but that has died. There are a bunch of good lookin' guys (like Behn) around who are hustling. Not just vibe players but also piano players and guitar players.

That's cool with me, I do think there's enough work to go around for all who are actively seeking it and all that know how to play their instruments. That's way it should be and I think that's the way it is.

Tenderly by BarryK

I was practicing something and it made me think of the tune, Tenderly. I found the chords on the web (http://www.myrealbook.com/listTune.htn?tuneSelector=T), transposed to C (which fits nicely on the vibes). I didn't have the melody, so I did it by memory (I am sure it is not right).

I am posting this to demonstrate the effect that I was after. Melody in octaves, and some double stop melody in the right hand.
