Practice tapes: Falling In Love With Love by Behn Gillece
Hi all,
Hi all,
Hey all,
I'm posting this tune for our new member Luc Lainé. Luc is among Patrice Guillon's friends. He lives near Bordeaux.
Here is a tune from a home made album he did in 2005 with accordion player Pascal Lamigne. The title "La Marine" is an adaptation of same tune from French legendary poet/guitarist/singer Georges Brassens.
Man I grew up with Brassens! But maybe, as non French will you get sent into some kind of "Ratatouille" mood?
Anyway, enjoy! And...
Welcome on board Luc!

Okay, after Tony's joke on the practice tape post, I decided this subject probably needed its own thread.
So here is my story about the motor:
.
Bobby's among the living vibes gods! How many times did we watch his vids? Listened to his albums? Felt deeply touched by a few seconds of love he can put in his music. Man he can make you cry with just one note!
That's a great power, a great blessing, a great chance for us to have him!
And today he just turned... well he turned 20 + half century!! Wow!!
Happy Birthday Mr Hutch!! :o)
i did this today.since it´s week of the practice tapes i thought i post this although the final totm lesson is not up yet. btw. it was inspired by david´s darn that dream version.

Here's another piece from that same gig. This is one of Ernie's original tunes dedicated to Errol Garner.
as a preperation for the workshop i was looking for darn that dream on youtube, look what i found :) i like it very much! the slowness, the voicings the little, quick dampening things. looking forward to study this at the workshop.

Hi Everyone,
There is a possibility that I will be in the UK (Leeds in particular) between July 2011 - Jan 2012 - might be the whole time may be only some of it. I'm just trying to get a feel for who is over there in the UK (and close surrounding areas) for me to visit/hang/play with or get lessons from.
Would love to hear from you all!
Cheers,
James
