listen to this guy play. listen to the first couple bars. you can tell he's a great young player, right? his phrasing i think is right on. has a little terry gibbs maybe in? i dug his playing.
I saw this a while back and though he sounded great. After listening several times, I realized that he used many licks on the "turnaround" changes in Billie's bounce, one of them I transcribed. Great phrasing too. sounds like terry gibbs
