🚨 Soloing Through the Changes Pt. 6 – Bebop Scale Variants on the Blues

In Part 6, we continue exploring scale-based soloing over the blues in F, this time using bebop dominant scale variants enriched with added chromatic passing tones. This lesson focuses on creating longer, more fluid lines that still clearly outline the changes—using the dominant bebop scale as a flexible framework, not a strict formula.

I work for a non profit called Global Academy For Inspirational Arts (GAIA). We work with music students in Costa Rica. I had to make a tutorial on the modes and thought maybe some of you would find it useful. Everything you need is attached. I would love to see some of you work on this and give me your thoughts. (Including misspelled words, I still have to put it in Spanish!)

I remember learning the modes in classical theory class. And online later when I learned modes from the same note, could I really here the difference between them. 

Here's another one of my etudes. A great tune 'The Touch Of Your Lips'.

It's the head and then one chorus of some four mallet stuff. 

Your Job is to put the changes in, study the music and write in all the alterations. I.E. if it's Bb7 look at the music. Am I playing a b9 well know it's Bb7b9

You should be able to play it by yourself and make it swing.
