It seems to be a pretty quiet morning here at the Vibes Workshop so I figured I'd post another video. This is from the same concert as the Deep Hearts video I uploaded a few days ago.
This one is called Ups and Downs and it is one of my originals.

In this study we work on the tune 'Take the A Train' and study it from top to bottom!
Here's lesson 3 for A Train. Memorize the chords and play chord melody for the head.
A rare Milt Interview.
My buddy Dick Klien is a superior court judge here in Philadelphia. He also plays drums and jazz. Back in school he did a bunch of interviews for his radio station at college. Here's the Milt interview.
Milt had just recorded the cd with Coltrane and was working on his strings album. Cool to listen to.

Thanks to Carlos Maldonado for finding more of this!
This is from a recent concert my group and I played at Berklee. This is Ed's tune, Deep Hearts, which is one of my favorite of Ed's tunes.
Enjoy.
