Last Sunday was the Vibe Summit annual meeting in California! This event exists since nearly 20 years now and since last year we are more linked to those we call "the west coast guys". Gary Rich is among them, and I much look forward to his videos... I know it's a long hard work... Go Gary! :o)

In honor of Independence Day, July's Good Vibes will open and close with "America," the first from West Side Story (Cal Tjader), and the second from Mike Mainieri's CD Crescent, also known as "America, The Beautiful."
In between, lots of good stuff:

Finally got round to posting this (between house painting, kid minding Miceli workshop and gig tour and Limerick's first Jazz Festival.) Its a tune from the Aebersold book on rhythm changes which I used with Oleo and did two more solos only in different keys. Learned a lot from this, apologies for delay but I am swamped with work but making no money, I hate that part.
