Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this site, although I've been playing vibes and marimba for more than 50 years. That said, I have a question about maintaining the bars on my beloved Deagan vibes, which I bought last year. While doing a yearly…
Bela Fleck traveled to Africa to make a film and perform with local musicians. This excerpt features a giant marimba. The resonating chamber is a hole dug in the ground. The enormous hand carved bars a placed over the hole. I've never seen…

I am proud to present here one of the best solos I ever played on the actual TOTM "Alone Together". It was a live concert which has been - thank goodness - accidentally recorded by the sound engineer. In the meantime I listened to it again…
Hi All-
I'm having some new problems with my motor, wonder if anyone's ever encountered anything similar. I suspect that the trouble's originating with the specialized parts I had made to allow me to control vibrato speed with a volume-…
Hello
I want to buy a camera that has a descent audio and video quality in order to record my gigs. I know that zoom Q3 HD and zoom Q2 HD are pretty good models. I also want to be able to connect the zoom with the mixer and also plug in an…

This tune, titled "The Summer Knows" was written by Michele LeGrande and featured in the movie "Summer of '42" way back in the 1970s. It's a lovely ballad with a beautiful melody and a great lyric.
A pdf of the arrangement is attached.
If you're interested let me know. The price will be incredible. Only inquire if you're very serious about it.
I want to get this in the hands of a player.
This etude deals with more block chords, along with dampening within this independence exercise. You should start to notice how all the techniques we've discussed are starting to come together.

I'm editing Christos' lesson getting them ready to go online. I hate editing video, btw. It's not fun for me, I'm not a video guy and am not dying to make money at shooting video and editing it and making it into a work of art! It's funny…

This can be played with 2 mallets.
