So That's noon in Philadelphia and 9am on the WEST Coast. (I think I got that right).
Myself, David Friedman and Phillipe Mace will be performing as well as players from the workshop. So come check us out!
George passed away at 91 today. Here's a nice video of his group playing "Conception" -- not sure who the vibes player is.

Hi Gang,
Since we all seem to know the birthdays of our esteemed pros (both living and deceased) and we take a moment to recognize them, we, at the same time, do not have in our profiles the birthdates of our ever growing membership. Thought I would kick that off today with this announcement:
I am 75 years of age as of yesterday, Feb 11, and am proud to be able to announce that and very happy that I am physically here to experience it.
If you want to register early (last year we turned people away) email Harvey price at hprice@UDel.Edu. He'll take a small deposit and hold your place.
We're starting to get ready for the Delaware workshop again. This will be from July 31st until August 5th.
Between the instruments we get and ones people bring we will have an instrument for everyone, also a practice room. I think you'll also each have your own piano in the room.
I don't know a lot of these songs but it's still interesting.
I have a set of Friedman 30Ls to give away.
If you want them, all you have to do is put up 4 Friedman CDs via the Amazon Review under POST.
The first one to put 4 cds up gets the mallets.
