Haukes TOTW - Reflections

Hey guys,

this week its monks reflections. i put in the key of Bb.

this is kind of the first monk tune i really practiced. its so damn hard to speak in this "monk language" when you never did it before. i listend to the solo piano records and the trio records of monk and his time and the harmonical language is soo amazing.
so, mine is not, thats why i'm not so happy with this record. i definetly have to work more on this.
how did you practice monk tunes? what helped you? any suggestions for other monk tunes to practice?
