Here's a new way to harmonize the melody notes of the bridge. I've been working on this and I learned a lot from Behn's demonstrations, which I have been playing with a bit.
The first voicing I got from Mark Levine's Jazz Piano Book. It's a way of voicing a minor 11th with the 11 in the top. He attributes it to Mulgrew Miller. I kind of see it as taking your standard minor 11th, e.g. C, G, B, D (Am11), and dropping the 9th down an octave. This gives you a neat minor 2nd crunch interval in the bottom with an open 5th on the top.
