Lines Festival - Taking Care of Business by Tony Miceli
This 'taking care of business' analogy really works for me. You have to really break lines down and study them. Figure out how to get them to represent progressions.

Here the N°10. More the nuances are respected, more the piece sounds musical,IMHO. Hope I got it.
Sorry for the noises behind, I've let my window opened while recording...
A few final thoughts on using diminished sounds in lines. There's a little bit of distortion in parts of it, but not the whole time! My apologies!

The other day I came across this beautiful Mozart concerto... Simplicity I thought: that's for me! :o)
So I went to the vibes and tried, worked, recorded, redid, mainly by ear, then a bit checking out the score. But yes, the work was mainly : what do I hear among the orchestra and what do I feel like being able to transcribe and play on the vibes. As simple as the piece is, I still found it very hard, worked on my dampening (;-), on the harmony, etc.
So there it is, as usual very much imperfect but mine...

Hello again!
Hello,
This is me performing in a sentimental mood from a live session. The sound and the video quality are not very good but I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks

Hello,
I think as far as the comping that it's important to transcribe not only the voicings but the rythm as well. That is the reason I post this lesson in order to get inspired by the rythmic approach from great piano players like Wynton Kelly. I also recorded mine rythmic comping etude with an extra track of me playing solo over this comping. I hope you find this interesting.Pdf and tracks attached.
Thanks
