Forum Topic: Directions and Info To The Workshop

The least expensive transportation to and from the airport is a shuttle. Use the transportation phones in the baggage claim area to arrange for a shuttle to pick you up. You want to call Delaware Express Shuttle. They accept credit cards. Tell the driver to take you to the Amy E. du Pont Music Building at the University Of Delaware in Newark (Orchard Rd. and Amstel Ave.)

To return to the airport, call the Delaware Express Shuttle (302-454-7800 or 800-648-5466) 24 hours in advance for a reservation.

Milestones by David Friedman

Check this out! What a treat to come home to this in my inbox. David Friedman playing Milestones.

This is the old Milestones. Do you know the story? There are 2 Milestones and this one came first. The modal one that we all know came second.

I love watching David play. Check out his right hand, how he swings and how he throws in the chords. This is a great study for all of us!

Back Home

What a great week I had. What a pleasure getting to meet players from all over the world. This was incredible for me!

First off, let me thank John Daly. Without John this wouldn't be possible. You know Ireland is an amazing place to me. People are helpful and totally down to Earth. John is at the top of the list. He's incredible, I've never really met anyone quite like him. This workshop would not happen without his energy. I was also talking to someone in the workshop who said that the Limerick jazz scene has John to thank as well. He's a mover and shaker!
