Hey guys,

Here's a clip of an old classic tune called "Sweet Lorraine" which has been recorded by such pianists Art Tatum, Teddy Wilson and Nat King Cole as well as sung by Frank Sinatra and many other vocalists.

The tune has quite a bit of changes including many extended dominants. There's some nice guide tone lines throughout the changes. I try to bring those out either in the left hand comping on in the line.

Thursday is our unofficial anniversary celebration! I will try and stream as much as possible, including the Vibe Hang. I will also try to stream David's afternoon workshop for everyone to see.

It's unofficial because I was going to talk it up this week, but no, our server crashed!!

Let's see what I can do this week to talk it up.

The least expensive transportation to and from the airport is a shuttle. Use the transportation phones in the baggage claim area to arrange for a shuttle to pick you up. You want to call Delaware Express Shuttle. They accept credit cards. Tell the driver to take you to the Amy E. du Pont Music Building at the University Of Delaware in Newark (Orchard Rd. and Amstel Ave.)

To return to the airport, call the Delaware Express Shuttle (302-454-7800 or 800-648-5466) 24 hours in advance for a reservation.

Amtrak

Every body is welcome to come Thursday to the University of Delaware For Our Open House. It starts around 2pm.

Take the day off of work and practicing and drive down, come meet, David Friedman, me, Behn Gillece, Mike Pinto, Randy Sutin, all the attendees at the workshop and everyone else who comes!!

I love this lesson and he says 'It's Important to Sing'. I love when I hear my idols saying things that I believe, It means I'm on track!

Well maybe things are back to normal. Before I go and apologize and tell you guys what happened and everything else I have to say, let me see what's up with my partner.

This was a terrible week for me. I'm still not sure completely as to what happened here.

Here's the schedule. So the opportunity here will be to be able to play vibes and think vibes from 8 in the morning until midnight.

Practice - 7 to 8:30
9:30 until 11:30 or 12. workshop
12 lunch -
1-3 practice except when mario is there then practice 1-2 and then Mario 2-3
3 until 5 workshop (bass player 4pm some days)
then we'll break for dinner and practicing,
6 until 7:30, bass player, jam or informal concert, maybe one night, we play duos and then get others to come up and play duos with us.
