Here's a track from a recent gig I did with Elio Villafranca.
This vid cuts in in the beginning. But listen to it and check out the end. This is where we first worked on Freedom Jazz Dance as a blues.
We were winging it. You can hear the first couple choruses where we're getting the form of the blues straightened out! Funny huh? That's cool to me, figuring something out between us without words.
I'm slowly digging through all the video I have from the 2010 Ireland and Delaware workshops. I came accross this. I love it!
i don't have anything good for recording myself, so i'm looking for something with good audio recrding. i'm thinking probably just audio, some sort of portable recorder. but if there's anything that has video too i wouldn't be opposed to it. something around $100-$200 or so is what i was thinking. thanks for any info on this!
Me and Mark playing through Chi Chi, trying to work on some tempo problems we were talking about!
Me and Mark P. (our VW main bass player) playing through some tunes (Rehearsal Tape). Here's an original of his. I think it's really pretty.
Check out Milt's solo!
Check out my buddy Dan Monaghan on drums. I just think he's such an incredibly swinging and musical musician!!! Also Larry Mckenna a Philly Icon and Kevin Macconnell on base an incredibly versatile bass player.
