We'll explore some islands, "Barbados," "Tahiti," and travel through Mexico ("Ole"). We'll celebrate "Summertime" wherever we find it. Come along and warm up.

Hey everyone,
I decided to do a lesson which is about taking part of tunes into your solo. I think that this is a very interesting concept. Ofcorse I am not telling that you should use all the time but when it feel right to you it sounds very nice. The tune I used are
1. the intro from the tune "perdido"
2. the turnaround from the tune "groovin' high"
3. A charlie parker blues( I don't know remember exactly :)"
4. the start of the tune "If I were a bell"
5. the start of the tune "But not for me"
thanks (and I am sorry for my but English)
Any college cats out there that need an internship? There's a lot of research to be done for the site!!! It would be perfect for a grad student that needed an internship. And since we're pretty legit now, this could go on your resume.
Listen to Etta sing it!!!!!
I love it! AND WALTER IS A MONSTER!
Here is the complete documentary!

A Wes tune called Jingles from a concert last April featuring Dan Faehnle-Guitar (Diana Krall), Bobby Floyd-Organ (Ray Charles), Tony Franklin-Drums and me on vibes.
I had a goal of posting five etudes this summer and didn't finish it, but I want to get back into them now. Tear it apart please David! :)
That's a nice picture!
If you're going to try out the online class this weekend here's a way to prepare.
Learn the melody and the chords. Don't worry about a chord melody or anything like that if you don't want to.
Be able to play through the tune EVEN if you read the music. The point is to get from the beginning to the end whether you memorize or read.
Play the the tune a little each day so it's working it's way in your mind.
Print out a lead sheet to the tune, so you can look along with us as we play through the tune.
