I had fun jamming along with the radio last night.

My mics picked up the computer monitor sound. I am working on how to mix streaming and live sound into Audacity. I'll post those results when I get it working...
The attached audio is a short excerpt.
Awesome gig tonight! Really cool place.
Here Stella recorded yesterday at Marriott Hotel in Montpellier. Not enough money to hire a drummer and a bassist, so we did with BIAB.
Nothing fancy, but for me it's the first time I was playing with a saxophonist since I started studying 4 mallets, then it's a kind of milestone for me, and I was wanting to share with VW.
Vibes solo still too complicated, too many notes, but I'm on the way to work on that....
Hi everybody! Here the new way to learn voicings on mallets instruments!

It's Christmas season, or Hanukkah/Kwanza/Solstice season (not trying to start the war on Christmas, though!). What are your favorite jazz Christmas albums?
A few that I like
GRP Christmas- Various artists (including Gary)
Crescent City Christmas Card- Wynton Marsalis
Oscar Peterson Christmas- Oscar Peterson, obviously
then of course
Charlie Brown Christmas- Vince Guraldi
What about YOU!?

Check out the attached PDF's. Play through the examples. Can you hear it? Make Sense?
