I know you're having very hard time playing that monster piece, but I mean, do you realise you're a star now?

Man, hear/look at yourself, playing on that super-Roles-Roys-shining-top-sounding vibraphone!

You're now like one of those super stars wearing "Haute Couture" clothes!

Go, Tony! Beautiful. Etude's cool, but man, the blowing is superb, and your feel at that tempo is so relaxed and grooving!

And congrats on getting that instrument into whatever space it is where there's room for it. That must've been hours of moving stuff around that nobody even knows about. Well, I know, Tony, and good work, man. We appreciate it.

it was so hard for me. i was stressed and my hands were tired.

i'm learning about playing and what goes on inside and what people see. you don't see that i just was cursing and screaming. i threw my sticks across the room right before.

it looks way different than what i felt. there's something to learn here.

i'll print out the etude and post it. if anything it just makes me think. not practical playing but you can slip some of this in sometimes, i think.

i wanted to do better, by man it's so hard to practice something like that these days!!

check it out. it's fun, and bet you'll see that it's not a really difficult thing to learn. the solo section is different of course, but the head i think looks harder than it is. just have to work it out!
